A huge thank you to Julian Shea and to China Daily for an excellent introduction of our project to China: “Venice to recreate lost treasure of world's first public opera house”
Venice has a proud tradition of close links to China going as far back as Marco Polo in the thirteenth century, not least with memories of the original Silk Road that witnessed the splendour of the birth of the Teatro San Cassiano and public opera in later years. We are truly honoured to have had our first article published in China.
