Having recently become a member of Perspectiv, the association for supporting the preservation of the surviving historic theatres in Europe, we shall be delighted to share our research at the conference and of course to learn from the many great historic theatres in operation across Europe.

The Teatro San Cassiano team will be comprised of our CEO, Paul Atkin, and Director of Research, Stefano Patuzzi, who will share our experiences of reconstructing the plans for the original theatre of 1637 out of the Venetian archives and by our consiglieri Director Jon Greenfield of Hamson Barron Smith (reconstruction architect) and Emeritus Professor of Theatre Martin White, University of Bristol (historic lighting and theatre practice), who will address precisely the issues of performing with candlelight within an historically-reconstructed theatre.
